Import from NinjaTrader
Guide to bringing the NinjaTrader 8 Trade Performance report into Trader Leap.
Guide to bringing the NinjaTrader 8 Trade Performance report into Trader Leap.
How to export
- In the Control Center, go to New → Trade Performance.
- Open the Filter panel, choose the account(s) and period, then click Generate.
- Switch the Display selector to "Trades" (one row per closed trade) instead of "Executions".
- Right-click the grid → Export... → choose CSV or Excel → Save.
Use the Trades view. The Executions view lists one row per partial execution, not per trade. Also check Properties → Column before exporting: hidden columns (like Commission) are left out of the file.
How to import
- In Trader Leap, go to Import and upload the file.
- At the mapping step, use Auto-detect or map the columns manually — to reuse the mapping on future imports, click Save as Template before moving on.
- Review the preview and confirm.
This export walkthrough also appears inside the app, on the Import screen, under How to Export from Your Broker. File different from what's expected? Adjust the column mapping manually.
